Mission Australia has a duty of care to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our clients, volunteers and employees. This is in part achieved by undertaking a criminal record check for staff and volunteers that work or could potentially work with vulnerable service users; to avoid placing clients, volunteers and employees at risk of potentially inappropriate situations.
