Darren’s story

*Darren, 17, left his family home after many years of conflict and domestic violence and moved into Mission Australia’s Lemongrove Lodge.

While he was enrolled in year 11 and clearly an intelligent young man, Darren was doing poorly academically and was socially isolated.

From rockers to hip-hoppers: Creative Youth Initiatives (CYI) celebrates the launch of Still Spinning Great music, great food, great weather – a perfect combination for Creative Youth Initiatives’ Youth Week event to mark the launch of their new album Still Spinning.
